Release Notes - 2nd/3rd February 2010

An interim release containing extension to iCal support and some minor fixes and performance improvements in the Insight platform. As always if you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact us.

Extended iCal support - now includes My Reminders

In our last release we brought you iCal support in the Calendar and we know that many of you have already put this to good use.

In this release, we've added the iCal support to the 'MyReminders' page so that you can add your rota reminders to your calendar applications in the same way.

In addition, we've made a few changes and bug fixes:

The default length of the feed has been extended to 150 days.
We've fixed an issue with importing the feed into Google Calendar for non-GMT time zones.
We have added better handling of all day and multi day events.
Special characters are now handled correctly.

We have put together an iCal guide explaining how to get your personal iCal feed and add it to some commonly used calendar applications.

Other enhancements and bug fixes

There were some problems with slow running shop and Payment Group related queries in the Query Wizard. There are now significant performance improvements in this area.
When going directly to the Query tab after logging into the Web Office, some pages were showing an error screen. This is now fixed.
We've fixed an issue with rounding when editing Payment Group receivables which meant that in rare circumstances the correct amount could not be refunded.
There was a display issue in the organisation directory which meant that the phone number was sometimes being merged onto the same line as the postcode or country - this is now fixed.
UPDATED 3rd Feb 2010: We have released an update that fixes an issue where users could not use the Query Wizard and some Payment Group settings in Firefox 3.6.
